APL ships all have a hull number and a ship name. If you do not know the hull number, use the Pick a Ship button to open a list of the ships. The Hull Numbers are listed in the STHN (Ship Type Hull Number) column.
You can also find this information in the header for the FLSIP, AEL, or MAPL header for the RIC/APL you selected from your search results list.
