Input Key Type
The Input Key Type field pull-down menu allows you to
select what criteria your batch job will search. The options are:
- NIIN/NSN
- Includes either NIINs or NSNs in the search. Dashes are automatically
stripped out.
- Part
No - Selecting Part No will result in batch jobs with more
than one NIIN record returned for each part number. To refine your batch,
use the NIIN/NSN or Part No/CAGE option.
- Part
No/CAGE - Part Numbers combined with CAGE codes yield the most
precise NIIN records.
- CAGE/Address
- CAGE codes with Vendor address information yields the Vendor address
information found in the H4/H8 data. This information is also included
in the output of searches done with the NIIN/NSN, Part No, or Part No/CAGE
input key types.
Other qualifiers for this field are the Line Item Number
check box and Input Format.
