LIN

The Line Item Number (LIN) consists of one alpha character followed by five numeric characters.

You can add LINs to your input file to help in identifying what lines of your output are applicable to your input data. The "Fixed Width" and "Delimited" selections are only applicable if you require a LIN in your input file. The format of the LIN is whatever is required by the user but limited to 10 alpha/numeric characters or less.
