The H4/H8 CAGE code provides listings of firms that manufacture or distribute items procured by the U.S. Government or other NATONorth Atlantic Treaty Organization. countries. This database was created as a result of a merger between the former H4 and H8 Handbooks. The CAGE Code was formerly referred to as the FSCM.

The third digit designates an Economic Subsector (formerly Major Group) such as Crop Production or Apparel Manufacturing. The fourth digit designates an Industry Group, such as Grain and Oil Seed Farming or Fiber, Yarn and Thread Mills. The fifth digit designates the NAICS Industry such as Wheat Farming or Broadwoven Fabric Mills. Code - a 6-digit code, developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. NAICS replaces the SIC in the U.S.
- Business Size - offers the following options from a drop-down list: All business sizes; A = less than 500 employees; B = 501-750 employees; C = 751-1000 employees; D = 1001-1500 employees; E = Over 1500 employees.
